Final Paper Submission

Deadline for submission: CLOSED on 01 October 2009

IMPORTANT NOTE:

  1. To be scheduled in the programme/publication, each accepted paper must be duly registered by 1 October 2009
  2. Student registrations are entitled to register only one (1) paper.
  3. Registrants under the “Member/Non-Member” category are entitled to register up to a maximum of two (2) papers per registration.
  4. Oral / poster papers, duly registered but NOT presented during the conference, will NOT be included in IEEE Explore and EI

Before submitting your manuscript, please read the following guidelines:

Step 1 - Prepare the manuscript according to IEEE format

Please prepare your manscript in the form of .PDF file and are to be limited to a maximum length of eight (08) pages (A4 size, single space, Times Roman of font size 10, two columns format), including figures, tables and references. Please use the template posted below when preparing your manuscript.

NOTE:
The appropriate copyright notice is to appear on the bottom of the first page of each paper according to the guidelines set forth in the Cataloging/Copyright Instructions for an IEEE Conference Proceeding. As such, please ensure that you add in the notice on the first page, bottom left corner of your paper:

-> For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the notice is:
U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright

-> For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, Australia), the notice is:

Step 2 - IMPORTANT - Check the file for IEEE Xplore Compliance

To check your PDF file for IEEE Xplore compliance, go to:
http://www.pdf-express.org

Click on the link "New Users - Click Here" and complete the online form.
The Conference ID is: icbpe09x

Step 3 - Submit your final manuscript via the conference submission system

Please note that after Step 2, you are required to submit your final manuscript to the conference submission system. Step 2 is just for you to check the file for IEEE compliance.
Your submission is NOT complete until you complete step 3.

Click on the link below to access the online submission system webpage.

In the main menu, you will see your earlier submission that has been reviewed and accepted.
Click on the "Submit Paper" button to:

Step 4 - Forward Your IEEE compliance email to the conference management office

Finally, forward a copy of the compliance email that you would have received from IEEE Xplore Compliance after you have completed Step 2 to: confmgr@icbpe2009.org

You will be informed of the receipt of your final paper by email

Please note that the organiser reserves the right not to publish any paper (even if it has been registered) that do not comply to the prescribed IEEE format.
